Delete everything

Open Settings → Delete everything and confirm. That erases every mood log and tag, your notes, reflections and safety plan, your harbour contacts, your turtle and the days you showed up, and your settings, from this phone, at once. It cannot be undone, so use Settings → Export my data first if you may want a copy.

Uninstalling Tarang removes everything too, because nothing was stored anywhere else. On Android you can also use Settings → Apps → Tarang → Storage → Clear storage.

Exports and messages you sent

A summary you exported, or a message you sent through WhatsApp, SMS or the share sheet, is outside the app. Delete it wherever you put it or sent it.

Usage stats and crash reports

These are tied to a Firebase installation identifier, not to you. Switch them off in Settings and collection stops at once; uninstalling ends the identifier, a new installation starts with a new one, and Google deletes the old data on its own retention schedule. If you would like what was already received deleted sooner, write to us and we will ask Google to delete it.

Write to tarang@makekk.com. We will confirm what is and is not held — which, for an app with no account and no server, is nothing that identifies you — and act on anything that is.
